ASAP is a programme of Govt. of Kerala initiated to reduce unemployment among young generation in the state. The Programme aims at equipping selected college students with skills in Communication, IT and selected areas of industry and service sectors.
ASAP was first implemented in the academic year 2012-13 in selected Government Higher Secondary Schools and Government Colleges across the state.
Our college also implemented the ASAP. The classes under ASAP are engaged by Skill Development Executives identified by the Government, generally for one hour on working days, before/after the normal working hours of the Institution. Ajitha .v, (Assistant Professor in Commerce) assigned as coordinator of ASAP. It consist of 30 student members from various departments.
